WEEK 18 (FINAL) GIAfFrD
By turning aside the previously red hot Wild Ducks the Ice Hogs retained their spot on the top of the H2H standings, a position they have held the entire 2014-15 season.

Ice Hogs: 39.3WEEK 18 (FINAL) Cq96
Wild Ducks: 33.3

• A number of teams have challenged the Ice Hogs H2H supremacy during the course of the season; they have all been brushed aside. The victory left the Hogs with a league-best record of 13-5; one game better than the Wild Ducks and two games better than both the Polar Bear and Boulder Flyers. The overall standings could be a bit kinder as GM Henry's team remains in 4th place; 71.1 games behind the front-running Ducks.
• After a monster Week 17 the Wild Ducks fired mostly blanks in Week 18, a disappointing 33.3 effort dropping them to 12-6 for the season. All the clouds weren't dark however as the seven-time champion Ducks were able to maintain their position on top of the overall standings, their lead over the Boulder Flyers still more than single digits.

Polar Bears: 40.2WEEK 18 (FINAL) Cq96
Boulder Flyers: 34.1

• A Ben Bishop shutout drove the nail in the Boulder Flyers coffin as the Polar Bears won for the 11th time; their record of 11-7 leaving them two games behind the Ice Hogs. The overall picture is also a bit rosier as the Cup-hungry Bears now trail the first place Wild Ducks by just 29.8.
• The water-treading Boulder Flyers stumbled to 11-7 and are now tied with the 3rd place Polar Bears in the race for the $30.00 H2H prize. The sub-par week wasn't especially painful as the Wild Ducks also had trouble finding points; the Flyers still within sniper range as they trail the Ducks by 12.4.

Misconducts: 34.6WEEK 18 (FINAL) Cq96
Ice Cats: 31.0

• The Ice Cats made it interesting on the final day of the week but the Misconducts had just enough fuel in the tank as they improved to 6-12. The overall standings find GM Smalley's team lodged in 5th place; 106.6 points from the front row and 76.8 shy of a money finish.
• The abandoned Ice Cats are now 6-12 for the season, tied with two other teams for the league's worst record. The veteran franchise did crawl out of the basement but with three injured players starting and a GM who is breaking bread with D.B. Cooper, it's only a matter of time before the Cats make a return trip to the cellar.

Timbers: 55.4WEEK 18 (FINAL) Cq96
Dream Team: 51.9

• The soaring Timbers were the best team of the week as they saw their record improve 7-11. In the overall race the Timbers remain in 8th place but continue to gain ground on the pack. A money finish however remains a bit of a long shot as the Timbers still sit 145.4 rows behind third place ($100).
• The Dream Team played well but picked the wrong time to mess with the Timbers, GM Austin's H2H record now square at 9-9. Despite their middle-of-the-road position in the standings, a money finish remains a possibility as the Dreamers trail the third place Polar Bears by just 78.9.

Bluliners: 46.8WEEK 18 (FINAL) Cq96
Redliners: 38.0

• The Bluliners enjoyed a solid week, the league's third best tally leaving GM Hamilton with a record of 6-12. That's the good news. The bad news resides in the overall standings where the defending champion is once again residing in the cellar, the Bluliners now 187.0 back of the first place Wild Ducks though just a single point shy of sunny 9th place.
• The Redliners are now 9-9; a disappointing record since since they were once in contention for a H2H payday. The overall standings aren't singing a much better tune as GM Megan's team still can't make any headway, the Redliners stuck in 7th place, 115.8 back.
