WEEK 8 (FINAL) Hkn_avalanche_flames_20141204_219227196
Inked this past Saturday, defenseman Dennis Wideman injected life into the near-death Misconducts, his 13.0 points helping the veteran franchise climb to 7th place in the overall standings.

Misconducts: 57.4WEEK 8 (FINAL) Cq96
Bluliners: 42.9

The Misconducts were the best team of Week 8 as GM Smalley's two-time champion squad improved to 2-6 for the season; defeating the now 3-5 Bluliners by 14.6. A one time cellar-dwellar, the Misconducts are now 30.0 clear of the basement and just 39.8 behind third place and it's $100 prize. The Bluliners occupy the 6th slot in the standings, 74.0 back of the first place Polar Bears.

Polar Bears: 54.6WEEK 8 (FINAL) Cq96
Ice Cats: 39.4

The Polar Bears improved to 6-2 with the comfortable victory and remain just one game behind the H2H division leading Ice Hogs. The second best score of the week increased the Bear's overall lead to 37.8. In defeat the 9th place Ice Cats sunk to 2-6, their placement in the H2H standings just as bleak (9th place).

Ice Hogs: 45.0WEEK 8 (FINAL) Cq96
Timbers: 27.3

One week after suffering their first loss of the season the Ice Hogs made a return to the winner's circle, improving to 7-1 with the comfortable 17.7 win. The $30.00 prize for winning the H2H division is still leaning toward the Hogs as they currently nurse a one game lead over both the Bears and Redliners. Meanwhile the last place Timbers have very little to smile about, slumping to 3-5 for the year.

Boulder Flyers: 46.2WEEK 8 (FINAL) Cq96
Dream Team: 41.5

Inching closer to the Boulder Flyers with each passing day, time finally ran out for the Dream Team as they drifted to 4-4 on the season; 3 games back of the Ice Hogs. In the Cup-chase standings the Dreamers are lodged in 8th place, 82.5 behind the front-runner. With the win GM Morgan's 3rd place Flyers improved to 4-4.

Redliners: 38.2WEEK 8 (FINAL) Cq96
Wild Ducks: 34.9

The Redliners remain the surprise of the H2H season as they improved to 6-2 by clipping the flightless Ducks. The Reds now stand just one row behind the H2H-leading Ice Hogs and 63.6 back of GM Elya's Bears. In defeat the 4th place Wild Ducks slipped to 3-5 for the season. In the overall race the Wild Ducks remain relevant, their deficit still fairly manageable at 45.7.
